What a Glorious New Year It Will Be!

This is a blog created for Alexis Hakalmazian. On June 28, 2006 she was diagnosed with leukemia (AML). She endured 4 rounds of chemotherapy at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX before heading home in mid-November. She is truly an encouragement to all of us.

im back!

hello everyone!!
i just wanted to update now that i am home again. i finnished round three of chemo yesterday at four. i have been home for 2 days and counting!! my counts were through the roof before i left the hospital. technically i have "normal people" counts but thanks to the chemotherapy they will be dropping quickly. last night my uncle jeff, the creator of this wonderful website, gave me a guitar. i have been practicing a lot but ill be the first to tell you that i have a long way to go before im ready for any concerts. i also wanted to thank mr. michael thornton, a congressional medal of honor winner, for comming to visit me before i left the hospital. he was just an amazing person and an inspiration. i really wanted to sincerly thank everyone who has taken the time to post on my website. i really appreciate all of the continuing support from all of my family and friends and even strangers who have been praying for me from the very begining. thank you so much, i love you all so much
