Alexis Hakalmazian

What a Glorious New Year It Will Be!

This is a blog created for Alexis Hakalmazian. On June 28, 2006 she was diagnosed with leukemia (AML). She endured 4 rounds of chemotherapy at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX before heading home in mid-November. She is truly an encouragement to all of us.

Trust Created for Alexis at Bank of America

Uncle Jeff Here:

Thank you all so much for your love and generosity. Every day brings new mercies!

We are also grateful for all of the people that are praying for Alexis and her whole family - Praise God that He hears our prayers.

Obviously Leukemia has dramatically changed the lives of Alexis, her brother Brock and her mom and dad (Jules and Dan). They have all spent countless hours at the hospital, including Jules' mom Joyce, who has been a real blessing over the past 2 months.

Needless to say Jules & Dan have both missed a lot of work.

Whenever someone we love is going through something like this, many of us start asking "what else can we do to help you?"

In order to give people the opportunity to help Alexis and her family in this time of need, we have created a trust for Alexis through Bank of America. If you would like to help the family with upcoming medical bills and many other unknown costs please visit any Bank of America and let them know that you would like to make a donation to "The Irrevocable Trust for Alexis Hakalmazian in Texas. " (Donations to this trust are not tax deductible).

For those of you that are internet savvy, we have also added a "Make a Donation" button at the top right corner of this blog that provides a secure link directly to this account.

Alexis and her whole family have a long road ahead of them and any contribution that you can make is greatly appreciated.

Thank you & God Bless you all.

"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."
~Romans 12:10-13
