The Lord Hears Our Prayers...Please Keep Praying
Alexis really needs white blood cells to fight this infection. Unfortunately the chemotherapy wipes them out and it can take a really long time for her body to recover and begin producing them again.
The 4th round of chemo was the toughest and the doctors did not expect her to begin producing any white blood cells for at least another 2 weeks.
However, through the power of prayer and God's mercy - Alexis has started to produce white blood cells! Praise God!
Now she needs to keep this up and fight off this infection so she can check out of the hospital. For those of you that have been praying for her - Thank you! Please keep praying...The Lord hears our prayers!
