What a Glorious New Year It Will Be!

This is a blog created for Alexis Hakalmazian. On June 28, 2006 she was diagnosed with leukemia (AML). She endured 4 rounds of chemotherapy at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX before heading home in mid-November. She is truly an encouragement to all of us.

    Alexis,

We are praying for as you are recieving your next round of treatment. This scripture will help you.

    Isaiah said in chapter 40:31
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grows tired and weary, and the young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
    ISAIAH 40:28-33

After speaking to you today it sounds like God has placed you on top of His wings to soar.

    We love you!!!!!!

I did want to let you know how proud I am of you for keeping a positive outlook on life. To see someone in your position do that, makes the rest of us feel like we can do anything!
